This course is in accordance with IMO Model Course 1.22 "Ship Simulator and Bridge teamwork" The course addresses the current requirements of STCW 10 section B-VIII-2, Part 3-1 and has been designed to meet the Bridge Team Management requirements detailed in Table A-II/I of the 2010 Manila amendments to the STCW Convention and Code.
SCOPE OF THE COURSE :
The Bridge Team Management course will ensure that the navigating officers recognize the importance of proper planning, threat assessment, effective communications and good team work. The candidates are trained to work safely and successfully as a team, making the most efficient and effective use of all the resources on board.
